Working with Property Advisory Services Ltd on behalf of Knight Frank, the vision for this project was to regenerate life back to the main lifts serving a busy 9 floor office building in central London.
The existing lifts were 18 years old, belt driven gearless MRLs with closed protocol panels. They are a popular lift across the world and full modernisation had, until now, been limited by the lack of compatible new solutions available.
Working closely with carefully selected partners we were able to complete the project on time and on budget.
The ZAtopX is the perfect solution for replacing belt driven gearless machines.
Using new certified belts and divertors from Ziehl Abegg, the ZAtopX fits perfectly inside the existing frame.

Kollmorgen supplied the new open protocol control panel which fitted within the existing shaft restraints.
All car and landing push buttons and indicators were replaced as part of the project. Carefully designed to meet the customers requirements the new equipment and finishes complement the existing design vision for the building.
Once all the new components were fitted and a few finishing touches added, the lift was fully tested and handed over to the satisfaction of the client and consultant.
