The installation of this duplex pair of lifts was especially challenging due to the building décor and logistics

This was a very busy office building which had recently been decorated with clean modern finishes

All working areas were fully protected and hoarded to avoid unnecessary damage

Prior to removal of the existing lifts, the project team installed new trimmer steels between the two lifts. This enabled the new conventional lift designs to be installed. We were also able to separate the shafts by fitting new shaft division screening

One big challenge was to design the lift installation so the door openings would be in the exact same position as they were originally. No building works were to be undertaken so there was no room for error
